Mondo, is an Italian family business, but don’t be fooled… it is a huge company which has grown since 1948 into a highly respected conglomerate that makes outstanding sports surfaces and products, as well as artificial grass. They have been suppliers to every Olympics since 1976. Mondo also builds some of the most prestigious super yachts in the world from its shipyard in Savona Italy. Their outstanding engineering capability and heavy emphasis on research and development, produces the best artificial grass for mardi grass – all manufactured in its state of the art factories in Europe. Not surprisingly we are proud to have been chosen to be their distributor for the UK Leisure and Education sectors.

We worked closely with Mondo to develop a specific product for the UK using high tech monofilament two colour yarns. The result is our Mardi Grass Blade 40 product which makes an extremely natural looking artificial lawn that is also soft, durable, and ideal for families, kids, and pets. Together with our other mardi grass products it helps everyone enjoy our all too few dry days at every opportunity. After rain it dries quiclky enough to play on – just great for kids of all ages!
